f <br />MINUTES <br />Conference & Visitors Bureau / Lodging Business Improvement District Board Meeting <br />WEDNESDAY, December 19, 2018 <br />3:00 PM <br />The Pismo Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau / Lodging Business Improvement District Board met <br />this date in a regular session in the City Council Chamber, 760 Mattie Road, Pismo Beach, California, <br />with Chair Casola presiding. <br />CALL TO ORDER: Chair Casola called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM. <br />1. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: <br />Chair Casola <br />Vice Chair Roemer <br />Board Member Bickel <br />Board Member Naftal <br />Council Member Marcia Guthrie <br />CVB Staff Present: <br />Gordon Jackson, Executive Director <br />Micki Salazar, Tourism Coordinator <br />Heidi Morgan, Office Assistant <br />Absent: <br />Board Member James <br />TJA Advertising Staff Present: <br />John Sorgenfrei <br />2. PRESENTATIONS: <br />Item 2.A: Sponsor recognition for Price! House Victorian Christmas Open House <br />Price House Board Member Jeannie Nix presented the Victorian Christmas Open House <br />Sponsors with their Sponsor gifts. <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />Chair Casola called for public comment. <br />City Manager Jim Lewis thanked the CVB/LBID Board and PBHA for their support on the <br />increase of 1 % on the LBID assessment, and updated members on the status of the Pier Plaza <br />and Pismo Preserve projects. Also updating the Board that he will be meeting with three City <br />representatives on the Visit SLO County Board regarding request to raise the assessment 2% <br />over 10 years. <br />There being no one else wishing to comment, Chair Casola closed the public comment period. <br />
