MINUTES <br />Conference & Visitors Bureau / Lodging Business Improvement District Board Meeting <br />WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2018 <br />3:00 PM <br />The Pismo Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau / Lodging Business Improvement District Board met <br />this date in a regular session in the City Council Chamber, 7.60 Mattie Road, Pismo Beach, California, <br />with Chair Wightman presiding. <br />CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chair Casola called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM. <br />OATHS OF OFFICE: Erica Inderlied, City Clerk <br />City Clerk Erica Inderlied swore in Board Members Bickel and James. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />Present: <br />Vice Chair Casola <br />Board Member Bickel <br />Board Member James <br />Board Member Naftal <br />Board Member Roemer, arrived at 3:25pm <br />Mayor Ed Waage <br />CVB Staff Present: <br />Gordon Jackson, Executive Director <br />Kristin Huebner, Tourism Coordinator <br />Micki Salazar, Office Assistant <br />2. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON -AGENDA ITEMS <br />Vice Chair Casola called for public comment. <br />Absent: <br />TJA Advertising Staff Present: <br />John Sorgenfrei <br />Kaci Cox <br />Rick Turton <br />Ed Waage, Mayor, welcomed the new Board Members and commented on the significant positive <br />impact lodging has on the City of Pismo Beach. <br />Stacie Jacob, World of Pinot Noir, spoke on upcoming event and its demographics, to solicit a potential <br />sponsorship in the future. <br />There being no one wishing to comment, Vice Chair Casola closed the public comment period. <br />BOARD COMMENTS ON NON -AGENDA ITEMS <br />Vice Chair Casola called for board comment.
